Mae Hong Son Charity Ride – 26-28 February 2021
we enjoyed one of the most legendary rides in north Thailand, the 680 km Mae Hong Son Loop.
A three-day tour with endless curves, good paved urban roads through spectacular scenery passing through endless villages, rice paddies, hill tribes etc.
Along the route, we visited a local school at Ban Nai Soi Community Learning Center and brought well-needed supply to the kids like school material and clothing. For more info about the school, visit their web site;
We will make this an annual event. Next charity ride will be 4-6 March 2022.
COVID-19 Update, APRIL-21

The latest news is that all quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated tourists will be removed by 1st January 2022. There might be local travel bubbles with e.g. Singapore, Vietnam etc. in place in coming months. We will keep you updated as soon as there are further developments.

Latest Trips & News
I was happy to travel alone, but as I had only 4 days free I preferred to have a basic route and accommodation pre-planned to avoid wasting time on boring roads and trying to find suitable lodgings at the end of each day. The resources and experience that BTA have built up allowed me to tailor my trip around all of these things.
Finally, Thailand is opening up, at least for domestic traveling. I had been sitting at home planning and dreaming of the next motorcycle ride long enough. The idea was to scout “hidden gems” along the Thai – Myanmar border. Not that long ago this area was inaccessible for two reasons – lack of roads and opium growing, meaning is was an outright dangerous place to visit.
Wayne describes his first riding trip to Asia with Bike Tour Asia.
“Everything far surpassed my expectations.” This comment from a group of farmers and cowboys from Idaho, USA. They booked a 13 day dual tour which covers the Northern part of Thailand.
